Introduction to Creative Alchemy

Creativity is quite literally our superpower. It's how lights, airplanes, and cars were invented. It's how the internet was created, and without creativity, our society would've stagnated a long time ago. I personally think the society we live in today is built to kill our creativity Our society is plagued with consumerism. So much so that we forget to create something ourselves, and I could write a whole book on the many ways the powers that be attempt and often succeed to do this; but this section is less about how our creativity is diminished and more about how we can reignite the creativity within us and use it for self discovery and transformation.
Now before I talk about creative energy, I want to talk about emotional energy first. They aren't necessarily the same, but they are deeply interconnected. We all use our emotional energy everyday when we interact with others. Many of us also bottle up our emotional energy and choose not to express ourselves, especially men and introverts. Most introverts naturally tend to be less expressive in certain environments compared to their counterparts. But you have to ask yourself, if you aren't expressing yourself as much, where does that excess energy go? We are like batteries; when we sleep or relax, our batteries recharge. When we mingle and conversate (especially as an introvert), our energy starts to dwindle. When we don't use our emotional energy and bottle it up, this can lead to psychological issues, and eventually physical issues as well. Unlike our fancy smartphones and computers today, we don't have overcharge protection.
As an introvert, I realized just how important it is to have a creative outlet. Emotional energy is like fuel for our creative energy. When we feel strongly about something, creativity is how we release those emotions and turn them into something constructive and tangible. But what's interesting about creative energy is that it's less like a battery and more like a muscle. Some of us naturally have more creative energy than others, but we all have the potential to cultivate it. And just like a muscle, if you don't use it you lose it. Creativity is a gift we all have been blessed with, and one that I think we should utilize more than we do. It's what makes us human beings, and is one of the distinctive characteristics that separate us from other creatures on earth. It's a tool for self discovery, evolution, emotional intelligence, healing, and more.
Creative alchemy is a unique part of this process, and in my personal opinion, one of the most enjoyable and light hearted aspects of The Inner Peace Protocol. Creative alchemy is all about tapping back into the inner child; self realization and growth are merely byproducts of this endeavor. When done from the heart center, practicing creative alchemy can be a very emotionally charged and rewarding experience.
